What would you recommend for car speakers? any specific brand that has worked well for you? also at a good price. I'm looking to upgrade my stock speakers to something with more watts and better sound quality. If you are selling some speakers of your own then let me know or if work with mobile electronics and can get a good deal for me then let me know. thanks

you get what you pay for man. polk audio, jl audio, infinity, mb quart are all great speakers if you want to spend the money on them.

i have personally used jl audio component speakers in the past, and they sounded rather nice, but they also had a real nice price tag.

I went with alpine in the door and rear deck. IMO they have a clear sound to them. But it's all in what you like and how much you are wanting to spend... I think I spent right at $100 for each pair of 6 1/2s...

You wil have to define "good price"....
Also, it might be helpful to know what other things, if any, you plan on or have. For example, do you ahve, or are you willing to get a 50-75 watt amp for the speakers? That would definatley change my suggestion on what speaker set to get. Are you stuck on a coax, or can you accommodate a seperate? Again, that changes things.

Is a "good price" $100-120 a pair? Is a "good price" $200-250 a pair? $450 a pair?

There are loads of decent choices in the $100-120 range, and things just get better (for the most part) as you go up in price. As you get into the $200 range, typically, you might want an amplifier for best performance of the speakers, which also adds to the final cost....

Alpine, they're not too expensive and sound great. Redgst97 pretty much summed it up. Its all what you want to spend.

Depends on what size you need, and what you have to spend. Generally the least expensive speaker I have heard that makes a nice sound is the Polk db, not for an audiophile, but for inexpensive performers, the dbs easily make the list.

you can find a good bang for the buck. around a 100 bucks shouldn't be a problem. i can do you some db drive for 75 bucks installed and sound great.
