View Full Version : I'm kinda looking foward to the NOPI event next weekend...

Because I hope to see some new ****.. as far as the car show portion of it...

Over the last 3 or 4 years Ive Have seen the show car part of things fall apart like crap in a toylet @ the Varsity.

And the events Ive been to.. I get bored withing 10 minutes... Crappy ****.. Is like no one knows how to build show cars anymore...

NOPI events always pull alot of people and Im looking foward to something different.
Im glad some OG's are still showing and putting noobz into place and ****.. but still why cant people be creative..

I think still if I had my old civic.. I would still be placing at shows.. Even though I quit back in 03.

i always liked your hatch man. although i never knew you were with international Allstars. then again i didnt really get into the game till 04 and didnt get my first import, which i still have till 05

your definetly right tho. although i do love the clean look and such, i do love seing show cars and what not, and see whats out there. that is as long as its just not to damn ridiculous. although the craftsmanship on many things are really awesome

I had this car built in 98..should have entered in NOPI...prob could have taken home a trophy...I just kept it in every local show in NC.

i wouldnt say that tho, i mean you have to think. the nopi that most people around here are used to is the NATS. while yes, there is a car show and what not at this one, its focused around the drag portion so another aspect could definetly bring more and different people out.

Yup, I was in the All Stars for a bit....

I mean, I love the clean stuff...

But, if you are going to built a show car.. do it right.. know what I mean.. lol

definetly, i really do think that a lot of people basically lost sight, of the "show" aspect of the culture, atleast around here. But then again, the majority of the people that you see at shws that have true show cars and what not, dont post on sights like this because its mostly dominated by the "whats in now" crowd.

dude the show scene has been dying on it's feet....hell HIN lost most of it's major sponsors and no really goes to them (except for LA and miami)...it's all about speed over show now....atleast for now i guess...

btw:

i'll be there to throw stuff at you and then run away...
