i drove out today to the polk/floyd line where an f3 swathed through and killed 2 people saturday, i was simply amazed at all the trees just uprooted, and bent over all the same direction and i saw the path the tornado went perfectly cut through the pastures and trees.

The cagle's house which is located right next door is GONE... much off the roof and other parts of the junk yard are gone and cars were spread out everywhere. They told me when I stopped by today that they will not be open for awhile.

The first pic is the pic of there house.

the second is of the junk yard

yea that is plant bowen in the picture. They had about 20+ power grids and huge towers taken down by the storm. But could not take pictures of it cause of security there.

Holy ****!!

I used to live less than a mile from Cagle's. Did you go up 61 or Carnes Rd. at all? I heard the airport got some damage, and the trailer parks on Carnes got hit pretty bad too, and a house on Carnes had a tree fall on it. I also heard that that store where 61 and 113 meet got hit pretty bad.

I havent been up 61 or Carnes but as for the store at 61 and 113, it didnt have any damage that I saw, neither did the airport. Its like it went across at the far end of the runway at Old Alabama and picked back up around Woodland School.

Yeah, I drove through the area yesterday. Its crazy to see all the downed trees just stacked up along Old Alabama Rd. From the looks of it it went right down Old Alabama Rd. and then crossed 61 and cut through the cow pastures facing Carnes Rd., passed by Cagle's and then followed 113. Crazy stuff... it would have been much, much worse had it hit one of those trailer parks:eek:
