just like any other engine, they should be under the valve cover connected to the bottom of the wires. just pop off the wires from the engine and you'll find them.. oh, and I try to change mine every 60,000mi, but that's just me. I heard somewhere that you should replace them 90k mi

What year, make, and model is the car?

What engine do you have?

Copper plugs should be changed every 30,000 miles, while platinums can go as long as 105,000 miles.

We need to know what engine you've got in order for us to help you better.

He has an LS engine.

Spark plugs will be under the Spark plug wires on the valve cover

Stock plug number will be an NGK ZFR5-F11 - and like Batl said, they're under the plug wires.

1. Pull the wires out of the way

2. Grab up a 5/8ths deep well socket and remove the plugs

3. Add a dab on anti seize to the new plugs' threads

4. Start each one by hand and tighten them - don't over tighten them

...and again factory plugs for a B18A/B engine are coppers, which need to be changed every 30,000 miles.

If the car is boosed I'd check and possibly change them every other oil change, depending on if the set-up is tuned and if the engine runs rich. lean, or burns any oil.
