Which Vtec Cams?

I am in the process of building a ls/vtec and I am wondering which cams do most people like.I heard skunk2's arent bad.Just wondering if you guys could help me out.

Camshafts are recommended based on your setup.

So just saying LSVTEC doesnt mean much.

What Pistons
What Rods
WHat Intake Manifold
What Compression
Do you have valvetrain
What is the car being used for

Most Stock blocks i like SKunk2 Stage 1s or Skunk2 PRO1s if you want to do valvetrain.

For most of the setups on here, Pro1s are plenty big enough

Skunk2 Pro1.:goodjob: Also get the skunk2 intake mani with the skunk2 66mm throttle body.

a nice stg 2 cam like skunk2 stg2 jun 3's m22x's blox b's or something around that size should perform fine in your build.

if you have someone to degree the cams the pro 1's will also work but will perform better with a highend header a ported head and nice intake manifold combo. if your not planning on doing most of that the pro 1's aren't going to make much more power than the rest of the before mentioned cams they need lots of air to make power

don't waste your time, dc sports, jg, all that is crap!

listen to mike and get the headers he's selling. Do it right the first time and you won't be disappointed. I can literally guarantee that those jg won't make **** on the dyno. You're just buying them because they're OOOHHHH JG.

Ive sold prob 20-25 locally.

If you are asking about buying Cams, you better have a good header, if you cant justify a header that makes power, then you shouldnt buy camshafts.

and many more. JBhondatech on here picked up 15whp on his b16 over his DC Sport JDM4-1 header.

So, yes, these headers will DESTROY the edelbrock, its been proven. Instead of buying $300-500 cams and a $150 header, id reccomend buying one of our headers and ITR cams.
