Looking for an apartment and found an interesting website that reviews apartments. I have read probably 5 reviews of people complaining about scorpions, found in beds, shoes, showers, kitchen sinks. Are these escape pets of other tennants or do ****ing Scorpions live down here in the wild? These were different apartments by the way but there was one place the like 3 peole were like "oh **** year there are scorpion everywhere." I NEED A DRINK.

Scorpions live here, however getting stung is no worse than a bee sting. Not like the poisonous desert scorpions

u n00b scorpions are a GA thing... they're crawlin around here... The ones down here's stings are equivalent to a bee sting AT MOST... some of them are even weaker than that.... They are like spiders though, they will escape at all cost, and if you corner it or step on it they'll sting you...

They aren't like the pet ones you're thinkin of (emperor scorps) they are little 1inchers... the biggest wild one I've seen in GA was under 2 inches long (and thats HUGE for a wild GA scorpion)...
