Anyone work @ Honda, or tried to return something?

Brand friggin' new OEM Honda wheel bearing...still in wrapper in box. Receipt got destroyed in an oil spill (like a penguin's habitat)

Anyone know if they'll take it back, or am I bent over?

wipe the oil off and take it to them.. They can print another invoice also if that fails, as long as you know the date you bought it.

yeah the honda dealer here asks for my last name every time i purchase stuff and enter it in their computer system....even if its just oil and a filter. so do u remember if they asked for ur last name?

Thought as much, but was in hopes! I bought it as a spare for my EF with DA front brakes. Honda's infamous for wheel bearings. Well, sold off all the EF's, and now I'm stuck with a bearing.
