what does the remote wire for the amp hook to in back of cd player?

on the harness there will be a blue or blue/white wire for remote.

or if your running a factory cd player you can catch it off the accessory behind the radio or ignition harness

Hook it up to your v-tech selonoid* for that extra loud v-tech action lolol. or the black and white wire on the ignition harness, or the red on the cig lighter

Blue-white is a true amp turn on wire....blue is the power ant lead.

you will occationally run into a harness that only has the power antenna wire and no remote. Granted I havent seen this in a long time, but I have seen it.

yep I've seen it before. But most newer players have both. But with a lack of blue/white go blue! :)

yeap but ive come across installing some newer sony and kenwood radio where the remote turn on doesnt put out any voltage period on about 7-8 different times

most times i just tap in on the red accesory wire on the radio harness
