My four wheeler locked up the other day and we took it apart and found out that it is just the rod bearing. I was wandering if I could take it to a bearing shop and get a bearing made and just put it back together or will I need to get a new crank or rod?

If the bearing is shot you probably tore up something. Depending on long it was you probably put grooves in the crank. Rod might be ok, might have to replace the crank. But look at the bright side, its alot cheaper than a car.

Yeah since it is all taken apart I went ahead and got a big bore piston(734 ci) and got a stage 2 hot cam and a fuel injection controller. Only cost 700 dollars. Hope I don't have to replace the crank cause it is goin to be around 350-400 for the one I want.
And it was running fine and then I turned it off and went to crank it back up and it wouldn't do anything. It would never turn over so maybe it didn't mess anything up to bad.
