It's a fuel pump shut off, basically. It's in case the bus is in an accident, and they're pretty common. Most Ford-Lincoln-Mercury vehicles have them as well. They automatically trip in case of an accident over a certain amount of force, and the button can either be used to activate or reset the system. BTW, where in Ireland did you go? I've got family there.

Yeaup, or just in any emergency occasion you are outside of the truck and you dont have the time to get all the way back in the truck to stop it...
