I've been thinking of doing a GSR block with an LS crank, rods, and PR3 pistons. I've done a little research and I think I might just go this way to make a little extra torque. But I wanted to know your opinion on what would be better to do. I have at my disposal a complete LS block and a complete GSR block.

What do you think on overall reliability, power gain, and is it worth it? Or should I just go ahead and do an LS/VTEC setup?

-Thanks

all i can say is ls/vtec isnt gonna be worth it...sure ur ride will seem to be pulling pretty hard but eventually it will destroy it self lol.

either way is a good setup imo...of course gsr block does give u oil squirters..if u have a ls block just play around with your crank and rods to improve the r/s ratio....1.74 is the best (yea for b16's) stock ls/v are around 1.54 so check out this link and play with option depending on your build

Thanks, I've found the info I need I just wanted to see if someone on here has had some experience with it. And if done right would it be reliable, create a little more power, and if the overall swap is worth it.
