Back in January, I was forced to convert to rear disc when my drums decide to crap out on me (leaky brake fluid FTL). Well, after driving around with the rear disc for a month and a half (as expected, I didn't notice much gain) I decided it was time to upgrade the front. I didn't want to waste my money on slotted or crossed drilled rotors since I view them as only a "bling" factor. So I decided to upgrade to a larger rotor and caliper. At first, I was going to install the 11" fastbrake kit on my CRX Knuckles, but I decided against that. I had a pair of DA knuckles sitting around, and saw this as a perfect opportunity to press in new bearings/ball joints/arp extended studs and do an OEM 11in brake upgrade. So I search for the proper calipers w/bracket (17CL15VN caliper found on Preludes, Vigers, Accord Wagons&V6s, and TLs) and got 4x114 Prelude Vtec rotors. After finding them, I had to take the brackets to get milled down 3mm and get the rotors redrilled to 4x100.
The end results were

Overall, I'm very satisfied with results. I believe for the price I invested, I couldn't get a better setup. My car already had a DA master cylinder and brake booster installed, so I didn't have to worry about that. Now I'm using a 91 CRX Si prop valve and may upgrade to a 4040, but the one I'm using now is working just fine. I'm also rocking Autozone's Special pads :D ($17.99 lifetime warranty FTW) and they grab just fine for me (a lot better than stock. Now I can lockup my brakes when I previously couldn't.). After getting aligned, the DA knuckles didn't change the geometry of suspension (unlike if you were to install DC/EG/EK knuckles on my EF). My camber changed only .1degree on both sides (negative camber FTW), my caster did not change, and my toe was able get put back into range with no problems. If anyone has any questions and/or want more pics of anything lmk. Also, if you are interested in doing this, I have two extra pairs of those calipers. LMK and I can build this setup for you for a decent price (it would be bolt-on for DA, DC, and EX knuckles, DX and other knuckle would need more work)
*sidenote* This setup is pretty heavy, so it's not for a car on a diet. Also, if you need even more stopping power, the type r calipers can be swapped with 92up Acura Legend GS Calipers which are the same as NSX calipers (2 pistons rather than 1) just heavier.
