If people believe that the economy is getting better then they will be more apt to go out and buy stuff which will in turn create demand which will get others back to work etc.. it's a cycle that needs to get going again and it looks like it has with all the money that has been dumped into the system.

This is a key point.. the US Dollar was SO over valued that no one could afford to buy it.. Other countries we're buying anything US cause it just cost too much money and it was hurting the US industry as well as for Oil and other commodities that base their price on USD.
