i checked my credit twice last year with freecreditreport.com it was free the first time, but it only showed me my credit report for experian, from what i know of now, you get 1 free from each of the 3 top companies. later in the year i payed to view all 3 reports. am i still able to view my free report from the other 2 companies? without it saying i already got one within the last 12 months even though it was only one company? also does it go by once in a 12 month period or once per year? (meaning anytime in 07 and anytime in 08 whether its a month or 11 months apart). i always see a little link on the top of msn's homepage for annualcreditreport.com, and something about its one of the top places to use so im thinking im going to use that this time. anyone else have some places they use?

www.annualcreditreport.com

That is the government regulated free report site. It's not a business, it will not cost you anything.

By U.S. law, we all get one free, per year, per credit bureau. As GA residents, we get 2 more from each bureau for free. I've claimed it through my GA rights before but I can't remember how. I believe I found it somewhere on the bureaus site and maybe had to call them. It's been a while though, I have a credit monitoring service that I pay for by the month now and I see all three reports, all three scores any time and with alerts for changes.

But... you can at least get your 1 free for the year from each bureau through that site, no doubt. The other two that GA entitles you to, you may have to do some research if you want to use one of those in a few months.

i went a did the annualcreditreport.com, got one for me and my wife buts its just the actually report of everything she owes to who, and whos inquires, and her addresses. im looking for something more like freecreditreport.com where it has EVERYTHING! who you owe what, how much, your credit score, advice on raising it, all that. im not looking for something free now, just want to know whats the best site for getting all that? i know freecreditreport is an easy to read site and everything its layed out good so its not confusing. anyone have some good places to get complete credit checks?

my bank has this thing going with experian (prefer equifax though), does this look like its unlimited access to just my score? or everything that i would get if i went and payed the $15 at freecreditreport.com for a score and credit report?
