This was my car saturday night. I hit a construction area and lost it. It was on 85-N after the 316 exit. There is a sudden lane shift, then a dip in the road. Combined with me already going too fast this was the outcome. We rolled 4 times, everything was thrown from the car except my girlfriend and I only because we were strapped in. Please, wear your seatbelt! Both of us walked away from this. My girlfriend had a bump on her cheek and my hand needed 8 stitches and glass removed from it, we are both in great shape now though. :goodjob:

Was going about 75/80-ish. Speed of traffic really. I was just in the far left lane, so after the lane shift there was a lot of gravel in the road from the construction.

NO LIE! I had a wreck last year head on ill post pics later but i would be dead if i wasnt wearing my seatbelt!!Tell that to the other 700,000 people in the US that didn't die because they were wearing belts. The chances of being in a serious accident is relatively slim then the chances of surviving only because you weren't wearing a seatbelt is extremely rare.

Please, wear your seatbelt!

Sucks if this is the only thing you learned from this wreck.

But good, hard lesson to learn. Later, QD.

i never wore my seat belt until about 6 months ago. i was sitting at a red light and i seen a cop across from me at this intersection and he looked away so i put it on. at the next intersection a lady failed to yelled and hit me so hard that my car went up on its side and the police said if i was not wearing my seat belt i would have been ejected. but i am glad you and your girl came out of this ok.

good to hear you came out ok. ive been in an accident less than 1/4 were i shouldve died because i wasnt wearing my seatbelt. the funny thing about that is i normally used to put my seatbelt on right after that turn.(now i do it before i hit the road)

Good thing youre alive. But you must have been driving really wreckless for that to have happened. I drive through there everyday. I think i even drove past you at night on my way home. people dont go 80 through there. Also that area is very well lit. That being said. You are a fukcing idiot, learn how to drive. Why the hell would you be going that fast through that construction area anyways?

Sometimes it takes close calls to make people realize how thankful they should be.

Gold plate them belts and hang them in your room. :)

Glad you two came out ok. Looks like it could of been a lot worse for the both of ya.

yeah that spot is pretty scary. The lane shift with no run off room and a dip at the same time.

Glad you are okay!

From the looks of your car that was a super ugly wreck.

Thankfully you and your girl came out of it relatively unharmed because the last
thing I think anyone on here wants to read is about a fellow IA member dying in a traffic related incident.

I always wear my belt. Always have and always will and in fact, I feel naked without it.

Yea seatbelts seem to help alot, but there are always the negatives of the belts.
in your case however it appears the seatbelt was very much a positive.glad to know everyone is ok.
