yes. a while back. then the engine threw a rod a few weeks later, so i used the head to make the ls/vtec, which was much faster then the gsr. now i swapped it out for the jdm h22a which blows the gsr and the ls/vtec out of the water.

it is hard because they never run right. not to knock your thread. I had one that was fully built eagle kit, tuned, blah blah blah and still could not get it to stop burning oil, leaking oil, or running correctly. I could not get it to start on cold days, when driven alot (more then 20 miles) it would smoke from the head. this one might be different, but I do not think people want to trust a ls/vtec motor

yeah, every ls vtec is different of course. i never had a start up problem, cranked everytime and no cel.

an LSvtec is a good engine when assembled correctly.
