View Full Version : Cant pop my hood.
The wire thats connected to the Clamping thing for the hood Popped out of place. last time this happend my front bumper was off so i was able to reach in and pop it with my finger. but this time my front bumper is on and i cant take it off unless i pop the hood. What should i do? Should i Try and Bend the Bumper A lil so i can Craw under there and pop it? any ideas?
you could prob solve this problem better and quicker than any of us...

reach under the fender liner grab the wire and pull it the hood should open now that your hood is open remove the cable from the fender area and run it through the engine bay so that nobody can steal your car
it doesn't matter if i pull the wire. its not on the clamping thing anymore. its just loose and hanging. i have to put the wire on the thing again so when i pull it, it will unclamp it.
dam this **** is annoying. bout to go try again. lmk if you guys got any ideas. thanks.

ah yeah i forgot about that its not connected take a flathead screw driver and put it in the slot and push down should pop right open then try from up top and if you cant get it do it from under the car i had to do this with my dc integra so im sure it will work

just reach under the front bumber to find the latch and pull to the driver side, it might take a min. to find but go straight up and there it will be

yep, that kind of thing is just a pain in the ass. not much you can do but reach up in there and feel around..... that sounded like a cheap porno.... but anyways you will find it eventually.

you will have to take off the bumper.
