The deal.

The solicitor offered this as my "deal."

If I want the Reckless Driving ticket dropped, which I didn't even commit, (I'd take my rightful punishment had I were) he wants this:

$1000 fine
12 months probation
2 days in jail

What does IA think? :gay:

for my wreckless driving i just got 6 mths suspended license...

then i got in a wreck while on the suspended license (was 9 mths pregnant)...they cited the other guy @ fault (even tho technically i wasnt supposed to be driving), fined me $210 to get the license back, $850 court fees, weekend in jail, and 80 hours community service.

ask them can u get that kinda "deal" instead...and i'm being serious.

uhhhhh
1000 fine to the state?
youd have probation fines as well
also jail isnt that bad, if its county jail

Also, what is the punishment if you don't want to drop it? Lol. It would be fcked up if it were a better deal.

i missed my court date, what should i do?

Sol-Badguy
02-26-2008, 10:55 PM
It's Reckless Driving. Like I said, I would take my punishment fairly if I was actually driving that way.

I'll dig up my old thread.

Holy f*ck man. Pay the damn ticket because that is an absolutely retarded amount of punishment.

Me thinks you're withholding information...:ninja:

Sol-Badguy

The problem is, if I pay, I'm guilty. That means I'll automatically lose my license because I'm 20.

The plan now is to stall it until I'm 21, maybe.

My next court date is 4/29.

This is what I'm talking about.

My lawyer knows the solicitor on a personal level, and this is the best he can do at this point.

The solicitor said he wants to "get my attention". (His words exactly)

That doesnt matter. Its the age you were when you got the ticket, not the age when you are in court.

Wrong.

The court date when the solicitor/judge/jury gives your verdict is what the law goes by.

You've been misinformed.
