x2, spyders were fwd only

X2 hence the question mark at the end of my post. Although if this guy had one fabbed up :goodjob: but I highly doubt it. Pics of the undercarriage or it doesn't exist

i gotcha, i see it, right down to the bull**** mitsu carrier bearings....so is this an original gs w/ a drivetrain swap or a gst w/ some addage?

SandM

The spyder shares the same chassis as the gsx. So it's pretty much a straight up swap with very little welding. It's actually harder to convert a gst into a awd. Then to do this swap.

No, It was a GST. But the GS can be swapped also.

so you have a spyder gs converted to a 6-bolt GSX setup?

Evil Goat

i shouldve clarified, its a spyder gst w/ the addage....gotcha, nice work, must be a surpriser im sure, so turbo wise its looks to be stock correct? t25?

No, I have a GST converted to a 7-bolt GSX. But you can do it to a GS.

Wrong Stygiosracing, I actually need to edit my sig. I just haven't been posting much on here as of late. But the 1g was sold for a decent profit. The car in the pics is a 2g.

But thanks anyways. ;)

very nice man. I was about to throw the bs flag but ill put it back in my pocket. It's also been done on the gs 3g's

I've heard about the 3g's having the swap done also. Just have never seen it in person. Would be awesome to see.

Same as one of the later model galants. I'll have to do my research to find out more about it. But I have been told and have heard you can put the 2g awd system in one of the later year galants. You know, The ones that aren't VR4's.

I'm not really into meets and stuff. But I would be more then happy to bring it to one so you all can get a closer look at it.

exactly how was i wrong? i read something in your sig. people do swap 6-bolt blocks for the 7-bolt. i was also simply commenting that i prefer 1g dsm's. i do realize that you have a 2g. sorry if my comments confused you.
