wow thats deff not a good thing just throw some sealant on it and it should be fine id think since its just a waterjacket

but just out of curiosity, why didnt you stop when you noticed that it was gettin harder to turn?

Not totally sure but I would say no. Just because its supposed to be enclosed but it might be fine if nothing major gets on it or if it releases any dirt or metal chips you know

you can use a sealer or jb weld for it, but it is just a coolant jacket so it wouldn't be that bad...go to an auto parts store and ask them about it

once the coolant system has pressure on it you will have a leak...if that block was mine i would toss it in the trash. totally worthless

Have somebody Tig weld the whole from the inside, JB weld will crack over time from hot/cold cycles and pressure.
