I just bought a 94 cx hatch gsr swap about a month ago, and last night i went to a friends house. When i got back in the car would not go in reverse. Every other gear worked fine then my dumbass friend force it into reverse. Now it will go into any gear. Has anybody every heard of this, where do i need to start.

when mine did that... i broke it down and one of the arms was broken off the shift fork... but anyhow... its something internal... send it to mainstream^^^

you better hope your out of clutch fluid, or low on tranny fluid. Anything else is screaming rebuild.

every once and a while mine won't go into reverse if I park on a hill unless I put it in a forward gear first. Then it works fine. It sounds like that may have been the original problem, but then your "friend" forced it into gear and bent something.

You don't need reverse. Just park in parking spots were you do not need to back out. lol save 700 bucks.

It won't go in to any gear at all. I got a ctr just sitting ,I could always put the lsd trans in it but I dont know which trans is best with a gsr any opinions?

If your going with a all motor setup, the CTR, hands down.

If it happened after "forcing" into gear, then it is most likely a bent or broken shift fork. Have fun.
