ive never heard anything bad about them. but call 1-800-fly-mx5s. they specialize in miata's but they are an authorized dealer for hydra in the US, and have plenty of experience with it.

I think that they are the all in one ecu. Does everything and never lets people down.

I havent heard about it for any cars other than Subaru but the guys who make it have great customer service which is a plus for a standalone.

Search around on nasioc.com and you'll find a bunch of guys who love it.

The Hydra is ok if they don't make an AEM for your car. If they make an AEM it is a far superior ECU. Its basically a re badged Gems unit like they use in world rally.

I've got both by the way.

No AEM and no MS for NB miatas as far as i know. Options were Xede, build my own MS (yuck), Haltech, TecIII or Hydra.

x2 and i believe that you can run your fuel, spark, timing, on the ms for an nb and let the stock ecu run at idle, ac, and altenator

If you want cheap go megasquirt if you want a high quality standalone then buy a hydra.
