Mine spun a bearing. Looking for a good condition block and crank, at the very least. Would also take a complete motor, or a complete shortblock as well. Thanks.

I got a couple of blocks sitting at the house, one knocks but it ran good not sure on the other. I also have several D series heads that are good and I got a VTEC D series head with the solenoid.

I also can get you a D series complete VTEC motor and trans ( its auto) out of a 95 EX with 100k on it. Runs good.

All I need is a d16a1, or compatible block that will bolt into my first gen teg with my head and trans. If thats the case, I'm interested. Not sure if I want to deal with the one that knocked, because thats what mine did - and I spun a main bearing, trashing the block.

You need to specify whether you want a block to build or a complete bottom end. BIG difference in the two. If you have a main bearing go bad the block is still good you just might need new bearings, spacers, and possibly a crankshaft if it chewed into it. Unless you slung a rod into the block the block itself will still be good.

No, the block is trash. The bearing made multiple rotations in there, and chewed up where the notch is in the bore. And it scored the **** out of the crank as well.
