View Full Version : is there any way to move a vehicle...
From atl to san diego under 700$
I dont want to drive my car all the way, i would like to tow it...
the cheapest i found was renting a uhaul+ dolly..which is around 700$... but thats for 8 days? i cant change the amount of days online. so i think it would be cheaper for 3-4 days..
i thought about renting a suv, and renting a tow dolly but the drop charge for a one way rental is outrageous!!!
BTW, im movin to San diego in 3 months!!! good bye atl...

I read on the EF forums a guy shipped an EF from San Fran to GA for $775ish. It was along time ago I read it, but worth looking around. I'll see if I can find the company name.

Man that would be a long, but fun drive. And your car gets like 2348972308947 mpg so do it!
my gf drove out there with her mom, it took them 4 days but they stopped and slept twice.. so i know i could do it in 3. i dont know, id feel alot safer in a rental.

what dates do you need the car there?
i'll be down to drive it out there for a couple hundred (basically cover mine and a friends one way ticket back to atl and maybe a week or so at a cheap ass hotel)

thats like not even 400 miles..
you got ripped. could have driven it for less than 100.
my mom paid my cousin to drive her explorer from ga-utah and she paid for hotels and gas.. she paid 400 dollars alltogether.
