its a scam. I emailed the guy about another car in a diff. forum even and he said that he was in germany and the car is at a lot here in ga. He is trying this on alot of diff. places.

What he does is say that He's in a different country. So he tells you to send the money via Western Union or some other company crap like that to him and says his wife will then ship you the the car/title but then you never get it after you send him the money. Stuff like this has been done all over ebay and craigslist before. Almost happend to me.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I'm in Glasgow (United Kingdom) right now and I have been very busy.Anyway,thank you for your interest in buying the car. The car is located in US right now and has US papers.Why is the price so low? I am here in UK with my new work and I cannot register the car here, as it is made for USA, according to USA standards. So all that I want to do now is to sell the car at this price, because I need to sell it fast(I already made a deposit here to buy me another).The title is clean and you will have absolutely no problems to register the car in the States.I will tell you a few words about the car..My 2000 Acura integra type-r with manual transmission it is in immaculate condition with 52,200 miles and have the VIN number: JH4DC2312YS001495, rust free , no scratch and hasn't been involved in any accident.The motor runs very well (4 Cylinders).The interior looks great(NO SMOKING).This car needs nothing,the title is clear ,it is not a salvage one. I want this transaction to go smoothly enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have little time at my disposal. I already have tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out.
The price is $2,950 THIS IS MY LAST PRICE.I will not negotiate the price.I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the car ,to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions.This way,I shall be assured of the serious intentions .

That doesn't look too bad, but they already removed it from craigslist. Honestly, I would have persued it until he asked for money before I got the car. just my :2cents:

Where has the originality gone with the scammers? They all use one of three stories and just change the car, the name, and the country.

I miss the days when the scammers made original stories up and it was actually fun to mess with them.


If anyone is interested, I have a fake cashiers check for $24,500 from a dude in Canada who wanted me to ship my 330Ci to him..I was asking $19000 for the car and he told me to pay the shipper 2k and wire him the rest. The check came in an unmarked envelope with no return address.
