First real photo shoot with my new dSLR. Very excited with the outcome. The post processing was kept to a minimum, as I am not THAT great with Adobe CS2. I am working on it though so I figure it will improve in the future. Also below is my firs attempt at creating an HDR image. I shot it bracketed at –2/0/+2 and for a first attempt I don’t think it is too bad. I think it would be a better HDR if there was more going on as the photo is not too exciting. On to the pics!

I did them in Adobe Photoshop CS2. The "original" was just the "0" exposure :)

Glad to hear it! It's a sick car but I was going to reccomend buying a helmet for DD'ing with all the meat tenderizers in there. :)

Nice ride!

Yes. I won't be changing the exhaust. I built it with my own hands and I love it :)

SFI High Density Padding is in the mail :) Won't help if I don't have a helmet on but will be better than exposed. Street driving is kept a bare minimum. Sometimes I bring it out to a meet. Maybe go to the Varsity this week since I want to use my new camera :)

The wing? It is a replica. With paint and mounting it ended up being 500 bucks. I also had them fill the "fake risers" and I think it turned out good.

I will of course be there. Somewhere up front because that is my spot :)

I was in B last time. I would say B again for 1 or 2 more times. Last event of the season I would expect to be in A.

Running the club race school in December.

1.49ish on Kumho MX

That is with lots of dead rubber bushings, stock wing and no front downforce :) I now have no stock bushings left minus motor mounts(which are fresh) and front and rear elements. R Comps added too. See where I end up. Can't use my old camera mount so unfortunately I won't really be able to time it :(

I'm sure you'd still pull decent times with out that spoiler i really dislike the way it looks.

or

Just keep the lip spoiler on for daily driving!

I was gonna say, I have some 18x8.5" BBS RC's that would work beautifully on that car...they are LIGHT..around 17 lbs.

Too big. I have a lot of 17" track tires. I don't have the power or need for 18's :)

What spring rate is on the front?

DinanM3atl
02-28-2008, 03:36 PM
Front -345
Rear -515

Shocks were shortened and revalved by Bilstein to better go with the springs since they are extremely short springs.

DinanM3atl
02-28-2008, 07:38 PM
Alright. I dunno. I rarely am looking at what speed I am at. Seems to be the thing to do so you can tell everyone... In the ballpark of 120-135 somewhere. No exact answer.

No exact answer. With that spring rate and a splitter that sticks out that far I bet you'll be sitting on the bump stops at 100mph or less...that's not a good thing.

We shall see. Buddy wasn't and he was using the same splitter...

Someone gets pictures there so I will see.
