Excellent observation..it is in fact offset to the right which is why the US (and other LHD drive models) have better balance than the Japanese ones. The weight of the driver and steering on the left offsets the slightly right weight bias of the transfer case.
I am thinking about making the new GTR my next car, if I don't end up purchasing an E55 AMG.

the drivetrain looks to be offset to the right a bit.
Becasue the transfer case is in the rear of the car so a driveshaft has to come back up to the front of the car to drive the front wheels.
