paint photoshop question

HOw do u capture movie caps? like when u do a print screen with media player on pause then go to paint and paste it. i cant save the picture as the way i paused it. how do u ppl take movie clips and make em gifs and stuff?

you can make animated gifs with adobe imageready.. which usually comes with photoshop

Press "Prtn Scrn" then paste it and crop the img.

with ms paint... use the box selection tool

Open Paint right now... press the Prnt Scrn button... in paint "edit Paste"... you will see what Im talking about

after you paste it, your mouse pointer should change into a plus symbol with arrows on it, ... click the picture and move it around till you see what you want

then what? i can move the pic around it paint. only the outside of the media player screen moves. if close media player what is actually playing is no longer t here. making it impossible to not save thepic.
