i need to know if i swap a dohc zc into my del sol if i can just put it in and go.the p06 i think is for a single cam motor. the fuel ratio will be different and might idle a little funny. but i think it will work. i'd try and run an ls computer if you can get a hold of one.

Why would you put a ZC in a Del Sol? I am pretty sure that ECU won't work.

i am putting a zc in because i am low on funds and i am trying to get some decent power and i dont want the limitations of a single cam

Lots of my friends run the zc's in their crx'x and use the pm6 si ecu. I know the pg7 88-89 integra ecu is better though. The sohc ecu wont hurt it though. I know that doesn't help much since your car is obd1. Maybe get your ecu chipped with a zc basemap, or try a ls rp4 or p75.

But you are trying to put an OBD0 engine in an OBD1 car. That's going backwards.

they have obd1 zc's

Yes they do but I thought they were less HP than the OBD 0 ZCs? It's been a while I can't remember off the top of my head.

they also have OBD-2 ZCs. or atleast ones with crank angle sensors, identical to a D16Y7.

the obd 1 has more hp 135-140 instead of 128

decent power and zc shouldn't be in the same sentence, unless turbo colsely follows :goodjob:

the numbers are debated, give or take a few, but thats pretty much correct
