Looking for a S12 Nissan 200sx, preferably a 5-speed but it must be a 1984-85 for smog reasons. Dont really care about trim level or motor as it will be swapped anyways. Also, nothing that needs 5k in work just to look decent. I know it will be 25 years old or so but no beaterz please.

If you know of any for sale or have any leads for me please let me know.

A friend of mine has a damn nice one that he's trying to get rid of. I'll ask him if he still has it. The body is in excellent shape, could just use some polish or some fresh paint and is a 5 speed. It still runs but the head gasket is blown but its running with some block sealer right now. I'll let you know Monday. BTW its red.

Hey I am the guy that has the S12. It's an 1986 model. C20 motor still starts and will drive but doesn't have much power. It had a blown head gasket but we used some head gasket treatment so not much smoke anymore. I'm assuming you are changing the motor out so that really doesn't matter. Interior is newer and looks pretty good. It will need some new carpet or a good cleaning. Exterior is good, no dents or dings of any sort but there is some rust spots that aren't too bad. If you are interested I would really like to let it go soon. PM me back or call me and leave a message if you don't get me. 478-335-6841

Thanks,
Dave

Also it's a Notchback, not a hatch.

Thanks for the info, but its not really what im looking for. More interested in a '84-85 hatch. Good luck, though.

Hell the whole time Dave's notchback was here at the shop everyone kept asking if it was an AE86. I honestly can't say I can remember seeing a hatch that wasn't about to collapse on its own rust.
