acualy there are dozens of setups people can go with on the SR alone, also dozens of setups people go with on the RB's. ive seen 302, 350's, lsx motors all being in 240s. so its not just the original SR anymore. this is 2008, everything is possible.

people go with an sr not to be popular or "be cool" they go with it cause they can beat up the motor, blow it up, rebuild it for about half the price of you think they could. 240 owners help each other out.

people go with the sr because you can get a good t25 for $100 and replace it in 4 months. and still boost up that whole time. you can get valve covers for 20 bucks. you can get oil pans used that have no dents for free. the expensive stuff is the big turbos, greddy intercoolers, etc etc. high dollar parts to begin with.

Rb26's are not original, they are badass but not original. The reason everyone gets sr's is not to be different, its because it works and its affordable.

What kind of meet are you looking for? Parking lot hangout meet? USPlay type play games meet? I'm looking to schedule a fairly large meet pretty soon and am looking at options for a place. If you'd like to join us just check 240Atlanta.

I tend to like meets that are install days or whatever so there is something to do aside from just sittin around and talkin. Parking lot meets are fun sometimes. Especially when its not cold.

There are always the Walmart meets up here in Marietta every Friday and Saturday night. Theres usually quite a few 240's out there.
