Colt Speed is a Mitsubishi tuner operating out of japan and i think their badge would look much better on an Evo grill than that tri-diamond.

that would be stupid...that would be me letting MPH work on my car and rock MPH logo's everywhere...wouldnt make sense from the dealer.

I think it'd looks better on a trunk before the word "evolution" rather than in the center, simply due to the fact that it is asymmetrical.I do think the logo design is pretty sweet though.

Cherry blossom red, which is regarded as being a manly color in JDM land, was used in Japan to denote the STi. Its also a tribute to the sakura, Japan's national flower, to show pride. Yay for having an STi buddy to explain this kinda stuff to me. lol :goodjob:

All I know is that its a stylized I that looks like 2 rain drops. Dont believe everything you read on the internet.

Oh snap the Subaru logo is the same formation as the bombers that attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 (random internet myth), wrong Mr Internet, its the Pleiades constellation, a sign of good luck in Japan.

Yeah something like that, its a real constellation. Each of the seven stars represents a goddess I believe.

that does stand for Impreza but that exact one is meant for the GC's. the one for the GD's are wider. i remember seeing this badge at NOPI on a clean Forester a couple years ago and i had forgotten all about it

And as for the badge i think if i remember correctly; the blue badge designates the std wrx, while the pink badge, wrx sti, respectively.... this can be determined if you look at pictures of the older jdm models, especially in the hyper rev magazines based off the impreza platform
