As some of you may have seen this car before, yes the previous owner was Tom Hornsby who runs the Acura's and Honda's Specialist off of Tara Blvd. Great guy as most of you know and he handles everything with care that he owns. Just purchased about 2 weeks ago- my 1991 EF. Complete SI interior with cargo tray and rear deck speakers. No it will not stay as it sits now, ive got plans that will come further down the road. Other than that it will be driven with the almighty D16A6. Now for the pics:

Thanks everyone, im prolly going to be getting some Function and Form F2 coilovers. That will allow for lots including handling and all. Like i said, im not too sure of getting new wheels, i like the mesh wheels that are on it, maybe just a really good refinish will do it for them.

but i thought tom put a z6 in there

vtec93accord
02-13-2008, 04:17 PM
Nah it has a D16A6, i know he was looking into putting a Z6 head on it but i believe compression was going to be too high. He did rebuild the D16A6 with P29 pistons and a thinner headgasket which bumped the compression to 11:1. Also has a ZC/SI hybrid tranny, with ZC 1-4th gears for very short gearing, and a SI 5th gear and final drive for lower highway cruising RPM's. Car runs great and is very strong. The best things is, it even has A/C haha.

I've been in this car, well actually, his previous one that he swapped everything into this one, and it actually has great power. Tom spent tons of time making sure he got reliable power out of that motor, and it's a blast.

I can't believe he sold it... I didn't know he was even thinking about it. Wow.

Great ride.. hope you enjoy it.

I will most likely end up keeping the wheels, they are different, thought about getting some sub-zeros until i saw how many sets were out at the Varsity meet last thursday. I think ill just stick with my 14" meshies and drop it some more.

It will only go in the direction of getting nicer than it is, dont worry, no body kits here haha.

02-15-2008, 08:20 PM
drop a k20 in that *****, and boosted it.

vtec93accord
02-15-2008, 09:42 PM
Im not much of a fan of the K20 but minds could change. I think i would enjoy an H2B swap much more. Ive always liked the H22A. Cant hate on the K20 though, have lots of potential and they run very strong with minor mods.

Same here. I wouldn't touch a thing. But I guarantee this car will be trashed in a few months.

I hope I'm wrong, though. Later, QD.

The car is going to stay as it is pretty much, it will get lowered just a little more with some jdm EF sideskirts and a rear lip if i can come across them.
