does anyone know anything about the prophecies made by aztecs & mayans & etc?

i've heard that some have came true. which prophecies are they?

and i know that the earth is "supposed" to end on december 21, 2012 or something like that.

i'm tryna read up about it.

I remember hearing something about an asteroid getting real close to earth, but not close enough to impact. 12/21/12 is gonna be another normal day, with normal people doing normal day to day life things.

Kids will go to school, grown ups will go to work.

If anything, that "might" be the date we officially start some kind of war that'll send us through a time of suffering. Whatever happens happens. Normal people like us have no real control over anything close to that nature. So why worry about it?

Yeah the REAL weird thing though, search stuff on NASA's site, they are sending a satelite or something out to study an asteroid that's supposed to land on it or something on this day, search 2012 or something on NASA. I was researching stuff a while back just to hear all the myths and see any real facts and put the two together but gave up. Fun stuff though. lol.

2012 is suppose to be the start of another pole shift in the earth,its not the end of the world but this will change for everyone with the weather and all im sure some places will become inhabitable but this will take many years.
yeah the mayan indians thought 2012 was the end of the world.they based thier crops and time on the stars and were able to predict seasons and so on based on the stars and they were only able to go as far as 2012 so they assumed the world would end. you can google pole shift in the earth or the reversal of the magnetic field there are some pretty cool theories out there.but thats all they are ,no one will know the end of the world or the return of christ. but we can look around and see the earth is changing.

Those who know of Terrence McKenna, he made a computer program before he died that charted the events in human history into a line graph based on some ancient chinese "black magic" that was really just some complex equation. Anywho, he did this in the early 1990s and it could only predict everything up until 2012 and he predicted that it would be a great change, not an apocalypse.

I tried to read the details, the prophecy is Mayan but I can't quite wrap my mind around it. I cannot tell if its more of a religious theory or scientific. I do know 2012 is theoretically when the world reaches peak oil, oil production begins declining due to the lack of supply vs consumption.
