Well, the car was back from Yellow River Collision, so I thought I'd get a couple of pics the morning it went to the cage shop. The front end got a desperately needed makeover, and a nice set of 18x9 OZ Superlegerra's got some paint of their own.

Enjoy!

Yeah, and the spacers put the wheel WAY too far out. There was no way to get the bumper out enough to cover wheel rotation under load. :(

On the upside, CCW is giving me a full refund for those wheels since they didn't clear the Brembos.

Oh, Chris.. I won't be able to bring the car to the Elite show. It WILL make it to NOPI, but that will be about the earliest show the car will get to. The cage shop has the car now, so I won't see it for about a month.

Anyways, thanks guys. I can't wait to show you the fully finished, caged and ready to go pics as soon as this T2 build is done.

:D

Oh, and we'll see about those passing problems at the next track day, biotch! :lmfao: Tuned to 315ish whp with stock cats should equal no fuel cut problems. :D

Looks mean, mods list?

Miranda
08-08-2005, 11:35 AM
Mod List? Hehehe.. kind of funny actually...

T2 Mod List:

- rollcage
- aftermarket shocks (in stock housings on stock springs)
- axelback straightpipe (with stock exhaust and cats)
- 1 race seat - driverside
- MOMO steering wheel
- A/C removal
- full tune - aftermarket system fitting in stock ECU housing
- tires up to 20mm's larger than stock - 245's for racing

These are the allowed modifications for the car. When it's on the street, I slap those 18x9 Superleggera's on, but it will be raced on stock size wheels (17x8).

After that one morning, you never know..

Now that it's been warmer outside, I don't think it would be an issue even with the catless setup and headers.

- full tune - aftermarket system fitting in stock ECU housing

What?

Miranda
08-08-2005, 12:17 PM
ECU is open, but it has to fit in the stock housing..

I can have as much boost, fuel and timing as I want, but it's going to have to be ECUTek'ed. I can't have anything like UTEC, which is an external piece.

So basically you can only reflash? Yet you can up the boost? What kind of crazy class do you run in? lol

Well hey there!

Yeah, the car is at the cage shop now, so it's officially a race kaa! w00t! I'm really excited. Anyways, it's good to see you on IA. This is the besterest site in the southeast!

btw - the class is T2 in SCCA ClubRacing.

Nice Sti Hey what color silvers are those?

Miranda
08-09-2005, 07:07 PM
Light grey is the stock Crystal Grey Metallic and the darker anthracite is a custom color mixed by Yellow River Collision to match the graphics on the door. The door panels and rear quarter panels are vinyl and the bumpers, hood and trim are matched and painted. I think it's close to a Toyota/Lexus silver, but I'm not sure.

Looks real good. Looks like the Anthricite metallic that's on the '03 Acura 3.2CL type-S.

Tuned to 315ish whp

Thats amazing with ur mods, i have a full perrin TBE/no cats, ecutek, and a few minor mods and I am only pushing 291whp/334wtq. I would love to see the hp curve on a dynosheet. I'm not calling BS, just interested.

Thanks all.

The 315ish hp is possible with a good tune. I think that 109 unleaded can probably boost it up a little further. Time will tell. But I'll post dyno sheets as soon as I can.

Anyways, I didn't think I was going to be given the opportunity to afford campaigning the Subaru in ClubRacing next year, so I went way more to the side of hot car, thinking I'd be stuck doing track days until some magic wand got waved and I could afford it. Amazingly enough, Subaru and a codriver are really helping out and making this something I can afford. Better believe it's gonna be the hottest car out there always. I'll take care of the car, but it won't have foglights next year. Instead, it will have to be foglight covers..
