It's a retard conversion but I think we all missed the main point, craftsmanship. It's off the chart. Props for the awesome conversion.

I doubt it weights as much because the wood & foam at the beginning was only used as a mold for fiberglass. They didn't show everything, but that's most likely what it is. It may even be lighter than the original body because of the fiberglass replacement of all the OEM parts.

IMO, it's great craftsmanship, something they'd do as a demo for the shop or entering shows such as sema or similar (since it's in Asia).

Last but not least, this has been around for a LONGGGGGG ASSSS time. I believe it's even before the Ricer Altezza Trend back in the days. So for its age and time, prolly the hottest thing ever.

Here is are some obvious reasons why it's wrong......
Where's the mesh rear?
Where's the aero bump behind engine glass cover?
Compare how the rear bumper and boot? meet on real and fake car.

That's basically lying...

NO. I really think it looks good. But you are talking about an integra with a type R badge...more than half the people on the street know what an integra is. Sure its lying...but some people might not be able to tell if its a regular or type R. BUT WITH AN F-50, its a whole different story. I can say that around 50 percent of people on the street wont know what a ferrari F-50 looks like, let alone come across one. So is it safe to say that most people dont know an F-50's specifics?

Now getting a glance at this car on the street, people are not going to be like, "WTF, thats not a F-50, its an NSX kitted" or "that cant be an F50, cause it doesnt have the tail light, etc"

From the pictures, I think that is a gorgeous looking kit car, replica..call it whatever you want. But it certainly is better than an MR2 with the kit of a Ferrari, because this car actually has the length and stance of a Ferrari.

Ronsam2006

You just dont get it.

A Ferrari is a sacred car that has no equal. There is no reason any other car (no matter what it is) should even try to look like one.

If you've ever seen a Ferrari made you'll know why.

That's the problem with most people on this site. They say they are car people but they really not. You don't disrespect something like an F50.

I could care less who knows and doesn't....the fact of the matter is that it was never a Ferrari and it will never be. Cars aren't about how many people you can fool. In reality 90% of average people don't know what an F50 is.

I'm starting to understand how you think and even though i don't usually argue with others opinions..... you are wrong.

why do people do this kinda bs?

You should ask yourself that, retard.

Yes, this is old as hell. Yes, the body work is fantastic. Hell no I don't like it. I didn't when I saw it years ago, and I still don't. No one on here can argue about the craftsmanship put into it though.

The vans in the background > Fake F50

if you want a ferrari... then buy a ****ing ferrari...they did a pretty good job on the body work... but it was a waste of time IMO the nsx looks way better and now it just has an extra 1000 lbs added to it...

You just dont get it.

A Ferrari is a sacred car that has no equal. There is no reason any other car (no matter what it is) should even try to look like one.

If you've ever seen a Ferrari made you'll know why.

I really know what you are talking about. Sure it is fake, but it is a great look a like. Trust me, my favorite exotic car company is Ferrari. I have driven many(my job), but I get exactly where you are coming from, you are the type of guy who doesnt want to see a legend duplicated. I get it, but it is hell of a replica. If thats the case, then you yourself shouldnt be allowed to keep even scaled down models of it...since you only like the real Ferrari. But I hope you dont go to that extent. I have the same amount of passion as you do for a Ferrari, but I wouldnt belittle a great try and some really good body work.

And just for the record, I can bet that most people on here wouldn't recognize that it was fake if they just posted up the final picture and said "Check out those rims on that F-50" or something like that.

About the model car part ~ Model cars are true replicas licensed from the factory in order to exist. I highly doubt Ferrari licensed that car to exist.

You cant drive a 1:18 scale model car. Nor did that model car start life as something else only to be turned into something its not.

Here's another example.....its a model, its not a real Ferrari....but i respect it.

The difference is why ruin a perfectly good NSX to make that.

I dont like Kit cars either but... it kinda looks like whatever your trying to make out of it, and no NSX has to die for it to exist.

That car is like taking a Vincent van Gogh masterpiece and then having some amatur artist paint the Mona Lisa on it.

Ok I get your point. But I think it is a great piece of work, at least to show the shops work.
