good daily for under 2,000

i am trying to sell one of my buddies my 240 so i can fix my turbo sentra, but i will also need to be able to get to school and work so i need to find a daily for under 2,000. paint and minor body damage ok i am looking more for something that wont leave me sitting on the side of the road. i will need this car this week. also i would like something that after i finish my sentra i could do something nice with:D .
