all stock and motor which one wud win..can someone include specifications? please and thank you.
Is this a 60 roll? Because with the long GSR gears he will drop to first, be right at vtec and leave the prelude.
If it's from a dig the GSR would win, b18c > h22
100-175... gsr again.
How is the prelude supposed to win? Gsr vtec is louder.

If it's from a roll, the gsr should win.
If it's from a dig, it's a driver's race really. I've heard of preludes beating gsr's on prelude forums, and i've heard of gsr's winning.
The gsr has better gears and is lighter, but the prelude has more torque, so it really is gonna be a driver's race from a dig.

:umno:
you are kidding me right? there is no way a GSR will drop into 1st gear at 60mph! :screwy:
secondly, how are you going to base the winning of a race on the loudness of vtec to your ears? LOL :headslap:
I say it depends on the driver and the condition of each car, it should be pretty even. I had a 2001 GSR and Prelude.

After the drop to 1st gear at 60mph remark, I thought y'all would realize my whole post was a joke.

It's da driver no da cars!!!
i still think that's the stupidest saying..
put the best driver you can find in a stock accord, then put a granny shifter in a bugati veyron and see who wins
a race is about a lot of things..
about the driver, car, setup, gearing, road course, weather, tires,
whoever ate their breakfast, etc.

It all depends on how healthy, the motors are and the drivers.
The two cars run about the same time ,in stock form..

The prelude has to be stick too, since all GSR's are 5spd. Auto 5th gens are very slow and no way it'd beat a GSR.

stock 5th gens will beat stock gs-r's
with unless you got one ****ty driver in the lude.

NOT TRUE
I can race a turbo civic with 350hp and 215 ft/lb and lose with my mustang that has 215hp and 285 ft/lb. Assuming traction and drivers mod on each car.

when hp is close, tq wins races. what mods on that mustang? that car must have been slow as piss. you prolly lost REAL bad :idb: :idb:

Just a hypothetical situation, but that's what a stock 94-95 5.0 puts out... to the crank...

The Veyron is a auto so on a straight line, the Veyron will always wins.:D
And for the turbo Civic v. Mustang. There are much more factor than just hp and tq. Weight is one big factor.
I would say Prelude will win the straigh line, where GSR will win tracks.

Not even sure that's true, but a GS-R is a higher end version of the Integra. Why not compete it against a Type SH on the track.

Prelude will prolly out handle a stock GS-R.....
remember its made to be a sports car and it does handle like one, don't knock it till you've driven it.

Im pretty sure he was saying that he would lose in his mustang. It was worded weird though.

Yeah, like I said, hypothetical.
I would think a prelude would out handle, but i've never even ridden in one. Although I've never seen one throw down a number at the race track that is even almost impressive, where as I've seen a few GSR's with just a cold air run high/mid 14's.
