So I might be getting back into a swapped civic.
My last civic was an EG with a GSR and I sold it to buy my mustang back in July.
For the last few months I've loved my mustang, but got the bug for another honda. While checking out my usual places for cars, I spotted a 91 EF with a b16. The engine bay looked really nice and did the exterior, then I noticed the leather seats from some higher model acura. I make plans to go look at this interesting piece today. My friend and I hop in the old drop top, dropped the top, and flew the coupe to about an hour north of Warner Robins.
When we get to where the car is, I notice the almost flawless paint, almost flawless interior, then my buddy points out the acura 4 wheel disc brakes and some other stuff. I pop the hood to see this professionally looking engine swap then to my surprise, the oil looks really clean and not low. We take it down the road and it drives nice, not too fast but it has the usual b16 mad pull yo.
In the end, might be trading my car for this B16 EF and $800-$1000.
If all goes well, I will be hitting up the Summit honda meet this saturday.
