he probably recovered it at his friends 360.

shagwag3n was having this problem last weekend, just try again to redload it


or did you forget your pw?

it takes a few tries to get the thing to recover I put mine on my buddies xbox while mine was being replaced by xbox and it took probably a good hour to get it to recover back to my xbox

your NAT is probably strict, mine is open. hence why you were probably not able to join the games that we were gettin in the other day

heres the breakdown

strict can connect to open
moderate can connect to open and moderate
open can connect to everyone

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908880?sd=xbox <-should help. You can also call your internet provider and ask them if they have a different router or ask them if they can help you change your NAT settings.

How did THAT happen?I have no idea. I didnt play xbox for a few days, turned on the xbox, Forza II was in the tray and I had about 8 races left until the game was complete....~sigh~ I noticed that the Cover 350z was my car...i was WTF? So i went to my dashboard...and my gamer tag was gone. I havent tried since then really. I tried to recover it that day and the box said "hard drive not installed or not enough space" bs to both. :no:

i called them fukers, i dunno if it was that number or not, and i got some indian d*ck that i had NO idea what the hell he was saying. check my sig....my xbox is for sale. Dont want to go through with the hassel of tryin to fix it, even hvyarms was helpin me wit my iphone and i said fuk it. lol. electronics suk.
