Bilstein Front Struts and Tokico Rear Shocks?

Has anyone ever heard of running Bilstein Sport Front Struts and Tokico Adjustable Rear Shocks on a BMW 325i e30? A buddy of mine is looking at picking some up used and wanted to know if there was an advantage of this kind of setup.
I tried to search and I was unable to find anything useful.
