Haha just had to vent a little frustration after having to install a new heater core in my WRX. Wow that was a PITA. I think they built the whole car around the heater box.

Feel free to state the biggest PITA install you have been part ofInstalling my new turbo was a pain, was the first time though. LOL I know how you feel about the whole, heater box thing.

just had to do one on my mom's crown vic i think that is one of the biggest bitches of a job to do when working on cars

fuel filter in a 96 accord.....3-4 hours and it didnt get changed...

I can do it, about 30 mins :lmfao: ....The worst heater core, I have to do it a 91 volvo 932s that was a Pain,!!!! crown vic is easy after you done about 20 of them, an wrx is not that bad,:goodjob:

I did a heater core in a 99 passat.About 4 hrs.You had to take the whole dash and sterring colum out

heater core in an S class mercedes...my friend at rbm says it pays like 24 hours hahaha, i'm gonna check alldata for labor time tomorrow.

Most cars made after 1995 have a heater core that is a pain in the ass to replace.

Yeah I am convinced that they stamp out the frame and then install the heater box
