alright i want to have some intercooler piping made. 2.5" hot side and 3" cold side. i want the hot side to go thru the hole by the fender in the engine bay. aluminum or steel is fine, doesnt make a big difference to me. i got the bov flange i need welded on in steel and aluminum. if you are a shop and can do it, let me know. this for a dc2.

Unless your running a built motor and a huge turbo, why do you need 3" IC piping? The bigger the pipe you have w/ a small turbo, the longer it takes to spool up. I think 2.5 or 2.75" would be just fine for up to 450 hp. I have installed many turbo kits on the 350Z and the cold side of that setup was around 80mm which is a little over 3" and it worked good on a 3.5L but I think it would be a little much on a GSR. IMO What size turbo are you running?

so anyway... i have a fully built motor and im shooting for 700+whp on a borg warner s366. i need 3" piping, 2.5 will be a restriction. i just sold my 2.5" kit.

Not many people run Borg Warner turbos. That's cool. One of the race cars at the shop does. It's a big mack daddy one too. :goodjob:

Like I said, Mahdavi can do it no prob. :goodjob: 770-923-1550. Tell em I sent ya. ;)

I was wondering this as well. Mostly an estimate on price. Sr20....but with intentions on an 62-1 and greddy intake manifold....therefore all new piping is needed. Anyone with an idea of how much that would run me?

i had mine routed down thru the fender instead of the normal. synapse bov flange and i also got new 4 ply couplers, one being a transition coupler for going onto the intercooler and all new t bolts. it was 351 shipped. without the couplers and clamps i imagine it would have been about 250. the piping is aluminum with bead rolled edges and i had 2 vacuum ports put in.

i need to have some new pipes made as well, so im thinking about getting some aluminum conduit pipe and renting a bender. my bends arnt really that drastic so it shouldnt kink the pipe any, but just seemed like a good cheap way to go about it.

ha yeah your right.. i just called around and to rent a bender that can bend 2" + pipe its $130 a day.... :/

now now im thinking about finding some pipes on ebay like stated before, but i asked my local exaust shop if they had or knew anyone who could weld aluminum, and they didnt.. so ill just have to call around
