Another fun project at Carma Motorsports. Good customer of mine just had us do a pre purchase on a great little track car. Everything checked out and we're getting ready to clean it up. Car is in good shape, set up nicely.

Sweet, So you sell race cars??

Carma

goung control sway bars with solid adjustable links, coil over all the way around with turner adjustable camber plates, all shock\strut mounts re-enforced, brake cooling kit,UUC short throw, Upgraded ign coil, half cage, M3 euro diff cover, stripped interior, Momo racing seat, camera mount blabla.
We don't "sell"race cars, but we can help sellers and buys find eachother. We do do pre-purchase, pre-track setup, and track support. I worked the SCCA and IMSA fields for a few years when I first got involved in cars. Hopefully after we install another seat, 740 brake booster and master upgrade and a few other thing you'll see this beast at a bunch of local track days and what not.

How come you type this in every thread? It seems that if you deal in all these "nice" cars, you'd have a decent, operational camera to more show off this "work." Later, QD.

I still don't get the point of posting a bunch of customer cars. I know if i dropped my car off somewhere, i wouldn't want pics of it being posted everywhere........

to each their own.

I post pics of my good customers. These are people that are in to the
car hobby and enjoy others seeing there cars. I do not post pics of customers cars with out either them requesting it or if I ask specifically. What kind of car do you have?
I always felt by posting a few pics of the wide variety of cars that come through here would be interesting to people and maybe give them some ideas. For instance the E30 tack car my friend just bought. I thought people in Import Atlanta would be interested in seeing what it looks like and learn from what others have done. Not everybody gets to look under a well built E30. The owners are super cool guys. I planned to blog there first race season. This way people that are new to the racing scene could see what it is like to get involved.
We have race cars, stockers, customs, high-end, and specialty car come through here. I thought people would be more interested in seeing them then just the same old cars being reposted.

What size/offset K-1's are those? The rear looks to have a decent dish to them...

That was built by someone else and was purchased through Harisson Motorsports... seen it multiple times.

do you know any of the history on it. 2 friends of mine just showed up with it last week for a pre purchase. Seem like a clean car. There is a bit of a shock tower issue that is compensated for with the camber plates. Not my favorite way of doing it, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do.

The guy said he has had it for about 2 and a half years now. When was it at Harisson. The recent sale took place here.

your race car is way cooler than this one. I was looking at all the "real: race cars that are posted on IA to see what everyone else is doing. Found a lot of great info, not...
See you at the real race tracks....

I talked to the owners about it. The seller swears that it only hurt the camber and with the plates I think he said it was running -3 with should be good. If he wants to run much more we'll have to figure something out. he even still has a valid title for the car too. I told him we should tag it. Now that would be fun.

It was for sale at Harrison's as of 2 weeks ago when I saw it for sale. He posted it originally a couple months ago. I have no history.

cant say what they gave for it, but it was under 10k for sure. Seemed like a nice car for the price. Needs some love and paint (if you are into that for race cars), but someone spend some money on it. I swear the last owner bought evert Turner product for it he could find. I like the cold air front brake duct system he has on it. I want to fab one up for my 8 when I get it back on the road. I was talking to a few guys about swapping the master cylinder out for a 740 unit. Bigger bore. familure with that? Haven't ever tried it before. Just wondering if it is worth it or not. I also and changing the driver seat and installing two matching seats for them. Currently it has a nice solid Momo seat in. Too aggressive for a street car, my opinion, but great if someone needs a race car seat.

There's that beasty little four cylinder. S14 ftw!

Selling the seat? Wonder if I fit in it...

Ask on one of the e30 boards. My e30 is just a cruiser. Starts and runs and gets me to work.

Carma

I'm gonna see if he wants it. Otherwise we'll sell it and put the money back in the car. When I get the seat out I'll take a few shots (with the good camera) and measure it too.

Are you joking "nothing spectacular" its an e30 M3.....!

DinanM3atl
02-11-2008, 11:41 PM
True but its just an e30 m3 with a cage and stripped. It is not THAT great...

I think it may have some coilovers and some other suspension stuff. Would be quick but a close to stock e36 m3 could prolly beat it around track :)
