Someone has WAY too much money to burn. I'm all for having a killer home set up for movies...but christ. You'd think he would've taken some of that 6mill and made to room look a bit better. looks so cluttered not to mention he must not have too many friends as that isn't the biggest of sofa's. I'm guessing he did that for SQ?? Overkill....

Not to mention taht **** will be outdated in 2-3 years tops...:)

I agree... looks like a speaker storage room with a couch tossed in because it didn't fit in with the living room or something. I'm assuming the whole room is a function-over-form idea, because that install could have been a LOT sweeter/better set up

I don't see the point in that much speakers. Yeah surround sound is good and all, but it only a movie and you just need like 4 on each corner, plus I like 50 cent movie database, instead of using dvds, he has 3000 movies ready to been seen with a click of a button, it better then keeping all those dvds.

USUALLY, a movie on a database is not as crisp as one on a disc.. you can get VERY high quality with blueray or HDdvd... im building my basement(wheni get free time) for a meadia room, and im planning on having a 7.1 surround, thats 7 speaker spots, and a sub.. i have been throwing the idea around to have dual speakers at each location, so it would be 14 speakers for sound, not counting the sub

The place is actually a design piece he built as a showroom...it is not actually his home theater, but a place to show off equipment he sells as well as his design services.

Also, give this guy some credit for being groundbreaking in his field of passion. I don't agree with the layout visually either, but he calls it more of a laboratory. More power to him and more money to me, I hope.
