From the article:
So now it’s final. Nissan will showcase the next new Z-Car at the L.A. Auto Show this November. This will be the real thing, not a teaser, according to a source, who added that the car looks ‘fantastic.’’

A lot of blurb on the new Z is already out in cyberspace but yes, the new Z will be shorter than now (some four-inches, apparently) but a touch wider, still have two-seats and yes, power will come from the same excellent 3.7-liter V-6 found in the Infiniti G37 Coupe.

So welcome the 370Z and while the new design will be evolutionary, we understand it’s still instantly and unmistakably a Z. Roll on November.

I've seen 2 depictions of this vehicle, we'll see which one makes it through.

Hints the name "370Z"

In keeping the heritage of the Z coming from the 240z with its 2.4L I6, the 260z with 2.6L I6, 280zx with (can you guess?)... the 2.8L I6. The 1984 300zx was the first Z to have a V6 with (again amazingly) 3.0L and after the z32 was the 350z with its 3.5L V6 engine.
It only made sense that eventually the Z would become the 370 or more. There was even talk of a Nissan factory 450z with the 4.5L Titan engine like Tanner Foust's 350z vert.

^^^Sorry, I forget who drove the 350z vert that had the 4.5L engine but it wasn't Tanner Foust.

There is no 4.5L titan engine. That's a 5.6L titan engine. I have also heard of this 450z but never seen it. Does the 370Z have anything different besides the engine upgrade?
