b16 or b18 ?

i've found a b16 out of a 91 si that id love to go with, but i've been told the weight of the b16 is the same as a b18 so my question is, which would be better for my 91 hatch if the weight is the same id like to go with the b18 but have always like the b16 so which would be better?

looking for opinions cause i know the next mans opinion is going to be different.
