logo makers?

So, my brother (and I) have a home audio buisness.. name is JB Tech. We dont have a logo and I dont have photoshop, or anything like it..

anyone want to play around and do some stuff for us?

we need it for buisness cards, and to get logos made for the van..

lol. i didnt give any "rules" alli need is a good looking font with some effects to it, nothing special at all...

if you dont want to do it, great, dont post, i was jsut asking IF someone wanted to do it, i would appriciate it.. when i was into cars i would do anything in my power and anything i could for jsut about anyone in the scene, even moreso on IA..

I think thats partially true, but there are a lot of people that want something for nothing and when it comes to graphic design work and photography as well, people will take advantage. Something like this where someone's work will be published in print, either it be a business card or a full on magazine article/ad, not receiving any royalties from it is basically working for free. You wouldnt walk into a store asking for a freebie, unless you're one of the hobos standing outside.

I think a better way to do it is to ask for watermarked logos to be given to you, so that you cant just go out and print them or use them exclusively. If someone creates one you really like, then maybe front them a few bucks. That way you see the work before its done and both parties are happy.

that could happen.. if its a good enough logo.. i never said that money was out of the question.. BUT, i have payed for design work before and the results were crap, but i was still out my $

to be honest, somethign that looks good, is clean and is easy to read..

its for a install company, for plasmas, home theater, lcd's, home automation, etc, so.. i dunno.. mabye modern looking? play wiht it! lol
