View Full Version : IT'S F*CKING TIME LADIES AND GENTS!!!!

BABY J

These f*ckers (thieves) aren't playing around!!!! Every1 builds during the off-season/winter w/ hopes of crusing in the summer.

It's about to start warming up and I'm predicting a RECORD number of thefts this year --- for real. Sh*ts getting outta hand.

THIS IS JUSTA LIL FYI/HOW-TO/HOW-NOT-TO.

If you are pressed for time (like me) and you trust your car w/ oil change places - ALWAYS pay with cash. The grease-monkeys there working for $8/hr are already handy with a wrench. Why give them your address (card swipe) after they've been in and under your car for 20 mins checking out your mods?? (no offense to guys who wrench for a living).

My license plates will get you nowhere near where my cars sleep at night. But in addition to that, EVEN when you get yoru security system installed - make sure you pay w/ cash - and do not use your address on ANYTHING at their shop. The tech that just installed your alarm ALSO knows how to defeat it, so why give him an address to go with it?? DO THE MATH!

That pretty much goes for anywhere you leave your car... if u go to a Honda dealership for parts *cough* South Honda *cough* ALWAYS use cash. It takes 60 seconds to duplicate a key - imagine a shop that has your car for multiple days, they got all the time in the world. You swipe your card, u just gave those turds way more information than you want them to have. The help there (S. Honda) has been implicated in more than a few thefts.

Just use your head people. STOP BUYING OTHER SH*T and get some security for your ride.

Is it failsafe? No. I personally know people that can sneak in your yard, steal the ALARM off of your car, come in your kitchen, f*ck your wife, eat a bowl of cereal, pet your dog, and leave the alarm on your kitchen table w/out waking you up. But at least an alarm (2 way paging a MINIMUM) makes them earn it and takes more time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something smart w/ your tax money.

* I'm just kidding, I'd be the only one f*cking your wife... I admit it.

** There is the ever popular hood latch cable relocation. I suggest you do it - it's less than $10.

** removable (AND LOCKING) steering wheels

** we could go on for days.

PLEASE start getting your vehicles secured a little better. SOME security is better than none.

Hidden kill switch always a good idea.

The club that locks around the brake pedal is a fantastic idea too.

If they want your car bad enough they will get it. They make these things called tow trucks. Or they will jack you at a red light.

Good luck everyone.

If i was real parnoid about someone stealing my car I would hide several (2+) kill switches and/or a battery mounted cut-off terminal.

BanginJimmy
12-05-2008, 03:42 AM
2 way pager check
4 pizzo 140db sirens check
hidden back up battery for alarm check
aired out and compressor switch hidden check
ignition cut off check

and I do have more security on my truck, but those are the obvious ones that anyone with a custom vehicle should have. You would have to be fucking david copperfield to even get in my truck without me knowing it. Actially getting away with it is damn near impossible.

Drilled and slotted rotors, (inserts, nuts and bolts, hitch pins, hss stock you know)....most people won't look for them. I do that, but I don't live there, so I can say that lol. My tags...hahahahahha and lol lol lol, and any other laughter I can afford. I live in another state from my tags :).

However, My car lives a few miles from me, in an old building, with the police department and the fire station directly across the street, building has alarms, no windows and no sky lights :) and the building has an alarm. On too of that one of my better friends rents several rooms there and lives in it to boot :).

AC Switch 'nuff said.
several well placed toggle switches.

I myself have no alarm on my car, nor do I need one, no matter the place.

Wheels. I assume most theives bring a 19mm and a lug tool (you can buy replacement tools or from cars they've jacked) and hope they have the right tool.

If you can get away with it, like I do, run an oddball sized lug. I used to run gorilla's, now you need a 21mm 12pt to get my wheels off. I made the lugs myself in the shop.

I'm also looking into putting a weight pressure switch in the drivers seat, so you better know how much I weigh, along with whatever else i might carry when I drive lol, or weigh more than me :)
