Sounds like a dumb decision if you are already regretting it. Congrats on getting rid of the mullet mobile though.

well. camaro was 125 bucks a month for minimum coverage insurance ... plus i could have probably bought a multi million dollar mansion with all the money i was wasting on gas.

One reason: Gas Mileage.

it was a 96. it had 138k miles on it... it was an automatic.... no one wants an automatic z28.

plus, the transmission felt like it was gonna need a rebuild soon...

and i think i might enjoy having a car that i dont have to remove the windsheild to work on ;)

Ha. Haha. You sold your z28 due to gas? My 5.3 Sierra gets almost 25 on the highway. Do some tuning and work on it and I bet you can get make it worth driving it. Too late now. Atleast in the camaro you know your safe in an accident. Now, in the little honda your a coke can with wheels.

my camaro got 17 on the highway... if i was lucky.

and what work would i possibly do to it to make the gas mileage worth driving it? rip out the v8 and put a honda motor in it?? exactly.

With that high of a mileage, there could have been lots of things you didnt do , which caused the poor MPG's.

to some people it may seem like a bad trade, but if you look at it this way there are alot of upsides to trading. gas, insurance cheaper, cheaper to mantain not to mention there are more aftermarket parts for 92-95 civics than any other car out there. with a little work the civic will be a way better car than the camaro was.
